I’m a psychotherapist, eternal optimist, and a passionate believer in the healing function of the human psyche.
My work is deeply informed by a background in early childhood education, where I learned to listen to the wonder, wisdom, and deep knowing of children. This perspective shapes my approach to therapy, helping me connect with the inner child within each of us — a tender and powerful part of the psyche that often calls the shots beneath our awareness, carrying both our earliest wounds and the keys to our deepest healing.
In recent years, I’ve been deeply immersed in the ancient healing system of Ayurveda, which has shaped my psychotherapeutic approach into one that honors the multidimensional nature of healing—where mind, body, and soul are seen as profoundly interconnected. This path has deepened my attunement to the subtle interplay between seemingly separate parts and energies: mind and body, conscious and unconscious, self and other, friction and ease, love and fear.
I hold a deep affinity for the more-than-human world—finding meaning and connection in nature, music, daily meditation and all the invisible yet ever-present forces that shape who and how we are. Cultivating wonder and awe in daily life has always been my greatest medicine, teaching me reverence for both the ordinary and the extraordinary.
Childhood Wounding
This often begins in our earliest relationships with caregivers, family systems, or cultural expectations. You may have learned to suppress emotion, to stay small, or to become who others needed you to be. Together we explore the imprints of these experiences and how they continue to shape the present. As necessary and desired, my trauma work with clients is supported through EMDR.
Attachment Patterns and Repair
Many of the relationship struggles we face in adulthood are echoes of our first bonds. You may notice familiar dynamics repeating in your relationships, such as yearning, avoidance, distrust, or difficulty feeling secure. In our work, we bring curiosity and compassion to these attachment patterns and make it a point to cultivate new pathways for connection, intimacy, and trust.
Breaking Old Cycles
Freud called it the repetition compulsion, the drive to return again and again to what hurts the most. Whether it looks like a relationship pattern, substance use, disordered eating, or another self-defeating loop, these behaviors often point toward unfinished business seeking resolution. I support clients in understanding the deeper meanings beneath these repetitions and creating the conditions for change.
Spiritual Crisis, Awakening, and Integration
Life is an endless cycle of births, deaths, and rebirths. You may find yourself in the midst of this cycle, questioning meaning, feeling caught between despair and wonder, or sensing a call toward something greater. Whether you are in a spiritual emergency, awakening, or seeking to integrate profound spiritual experiences, our work can help you thread these new knowings into the fabric of your daily life.
Dreamwork
Dreams are one of the most direct languages of the unconscious. They often reveal both what is seeking integration and what is being resisted. In our work, I offer psychoeducation and experiential exercises to help you enter into conversation with your dreams, deepening your relationship with this mysterious and creative aspect of the psyche.
Manifestation and Self-Becoming
Manifestation has become a popular term, but here it takes on a deeper meaning. Our thoughts, emotions, and unconscious patterns continuously shape our lived reality. The wounds of childhood, the attachment strategies that once protected us, and the patterns we repeat all influence what we create next. Through inner child work, shadow exploration, active imagination, and intentional action, I help clients align with a more authentic and fulfilling way of being. Remember, the future is not somewhere out there…it is here and now.
